Pakenham Golf Course Wedding

f there were ever such thing as perfect golfing weather, it would have been the weather on Stacey and Jeff’s wedding day. A balmy twenty degrees in the sun, with blue skies and slight breeze – enough to carry the ball and leave a light sweat on your brow. The Pakenham Golf and Country Club was Jeff’s home course – a venue he played often to blow off steam, and to relax after a busy day in the city – so when Jeff’s brothers challenged him to a round of golf on the morning of his wedding, he knew he had the upper hand. Though the sibling rivalry made for fierce competition, it didn’t matter if he won or lost…Nearby, Stacey was stepping in to a white grown with only one thing on her mind: becoming his wife, and with that he knew he had already won.

Stacey and Jeff, I hope you know how appreciative I am to have been present on this day and to have been with you as you were married at a location that is so significant to you both. The Pakenham Golf course was an ideal venue for your wedding and I wish the venue every success as they invite future weddings to take place on their property. Much love, x.

I met Stacey at their home, a few minutes away from the Pakenham Golf and Country Club.

Stacey’s engagement ring was one of the only princess cut solitaires I saw this season, and it was a beauty!

Her pink and white bouquet was dappled with roses, daisies and lilies.

Stacey had both her hair and makeup applied at her house by local stylists.

Back at the golf course, Jeff and his groomsmen prepped for the afternoon events.

They had a sweeping view of the golf course as they adjusted their ties and pinned their boutonnieres.

The Ceremony took place outdoors on the beautifully-landscaped the grounds. It was hard to believe that this was the first wedding to ever take place at Pakenham Golf Course.

Blue skies and not a cloud to be seen…

Family played a large role in the Ceremony, with Jeff and Stacey’s son as the ring barer.

Jeff actually is this cool:

The golf course gave us carts to drive so we could tour different areas of the course…quite an adventure for this first-time golf cart driver.

The golf course offered so many unique locations for pictures. We started Stacey and Jeff’s romantic pictures by the pond and toured the golf course to find great light…

They can make each other laugh at a moment’s notice.

Ohh, Stacey…You can pull off that birdcage veil like no other!

While we were off taking pictures, guests were enjoying appetizers in the Reception tent.

The space was decorated with white linens and light pink accents.

The night ended as most great weddings do : with cocktails, speeches and a whole lot of dancing ;)
